Change the outside by changing the inside!

Every single one of us has a dream they wish to live someday, how about if I told you this is quite possible, you have the right tools and equipment within you to work your way into your dreams. Our dreams seem to live out there, both the simple and the large ones, others too large to fathom realizing, yet, despite the size, they all live within us. Yes! They all reside right there inside of us.

There are many ways to get the things we want in our lives, but basically it all begins with how we choose to think.

If you want to achieve what you have never achieved before, you must become someone you have never become, you must change, upgrade your skills, update your knowledge, work on your behaviors, master your emotions, change your habits and all that it takes to get you there.

If you can dream it you can do it. That is because God can never give you a dream too big to achieve, you may have to learn some new skills, interact with some new people, access new resources along the line.

Most people hang up on their dreams because they do not know how to get to it, but what am saying to you, never stop dreaming, identify your dreams then arm yourself with the right skills, surround yourself with the right people and acquire the right knowledge and work a way to get there.

Align your self to the process that allows you to consistently grow, consistently enjoy your life and consistently give you the kind of results you are looking for. Form good habits and make them your master, do what you can a day at a time, and just don’t be lazy to learn from your own experience.

Most people have never realized that we all have a part of the mind called the subconscious mind that controls most of our activities, way of carrying out tasks that carries all our potential.

Each and every of us possess one, out of which even fewer know about it and have taken sometime to discover it, study, learn and understand it’s purpose and capabilities.

By the knowledge of it’s existence and interest to explore, you are far much ahead of all human population.

Think of the time you first had to do something new, like swim or ride a bike, the first few minutes and hours on the bike were scary, during which your conscious mind was in full control.

Your brain is actually very smart, which unfortunately is also it’s weakness if not explored well enough especially by yourself. This is because you remain vulnerable to those others who’ve explored and mastered theirs and by virtue of them mastering their own, can gain access to yours if and when they so wish.

Whenever you handle a task, it gets filtered by your conscious mind, if it’s trusted and good enough, it passes on to your subconscious mind. In there, tasks get automated and one no longer has to think about how to get them done, this automated tasks manifest into what we know as habits.

Automated and occurring in the background without much of your effort to make happen or even sometimes your own knowledge, this include things like reactions or some bad habit you always want to get rid of but stubbornly keep creeping back.

It is like having your body learn how to wake up by itself without relying on an alarm up to and including the times the alarm is broken.

It is through this habitual nature that we are able to watch TV while brushing our teeth and the reason why you can have a conversation with someone while walking and engage.

The automated tasks require no much effort from us to get done. This is because our subconscious minds take control of these tasks for you.

Your conscious mind thinks very logically, continuously without fail. The time it misses a logic, we refer it as forgetting. One thought after the other, steadily in a string and series of them, the subconscious mind on the other hand is not logical and is much primitive.

Our primitive mind exploration is what we seek to explore in our article this week and go further to understand how we can take control and do those which we want as well as get far more out of it to increase our self value.

Whether you realize it or not, your subconscious mind is the boss of everything you do, every action, every thought is as a result of the beliefs you hold in your subconscious.

This is so important to know, it literally means any person in the planet who knows this can be an influence to your subconscious mind.

The good news is, it can be reprogrammed, the bad news is, if not by you, then by someone else whose mastered the necessary skills.

It’s important to understand that this is what smart marketers target to get you to buy into a product, at least those that already know how it works, the better they understand this the better commercial advertisements they come up with.

The subconscious is always on programming mode, open to suggestions we trust and find valuable every second of very minute without us even realizing.

For example, each time you get back home, sit back and raise your feet on the table holding a TV remote in your hands to catch up on some day events or that favorite TV “program” to get you relaxed after a tiring day, you are reprogramming your mind.

Take note of the commonly used term “Prime time” on television, prime because it is that time most of the people are glued watching something of common interest in their highest numbers.

To convince the masses buy into an ideas packaged and televised in adverts and programs they get to watch. Make an inquiry about the cost of running an advert at this prime time in your country, you shall be perturbed at their price difference compared to placing the same advertisement at a different time.

One of the ways a marketer gets to penetrate a market is by their ability to influence people, this is what all the big companies in the world do every single day, and the more they do it, the more relevant they remain in the market, or should I say your subconscious, making it likely for you to choose them when faced by that decision.

Our creativity is subject to the law of use which states “with any human faculty, we either use it or loose it” Our creative faculty is however never lost completely when not used, it goes underground and becomes a “latent talent” meaning “Lie hidden”. But by the capability of the human mind, we can begin to use our creativity again whenever we want, part of which this article is to trigger, stimulate and get to have you stir it up for far more benefits for you.

It’s been said that necessity is the mother of all invention and if that is so then creativity is the father.

Re invention begins from within us.

Our ability to reprogram our subconscious is as awesome as it sounds and can be achieved using several different strategies, learning from one of the favorite ones used by the biggest companies in the world is subliminal messaging, this technique is used through advertising, it literally programs your subconscious mind to buy into products without you getting to fully understand how. Those items and brands that are never in your shopping list but you come across them when reviewing your expenditures. This happens through display of logos and messages over and over, day in day out, therefore guiding customer decisions without their complete full knowledge. This repeated information bypasses the conscious mind into the subconscious without knowledge they will influence when faced with choices that involve them.

So how about we take a look at some of the ways one can get access to their subconscious part of the mind.

  1. Subliminal message. Sub literally meaning below the limits of perception and message standing for information to be passed. “Yes we can” is a perfect example of such that was smartly used by Obama during his campaign.

Imagine your head like a vault, the common goal of every advertiser in the world including your local advertiser, is to get certain convincing information inside of this vault, one that will persuade you to see value in whatever they want to sell. The reason as to why so many advertisers don’t succeed in doing this easily is because your vault is guarded by your conscious mind, this is that small voice you hear in you head that tells you something is not true, your conscious mind is good at what it does but just like all the computer systems of the world, there is always a weakness to be exploited, always!

Some examples of subliminal messages are audio, scent and visual signals that are just brief enough to bypass your conscious mind and gain entry into your subconscious mind.

Subliminal messages were made popular in 1957 by a study that involved movie theaters using subliminal messaging to increase the sales of popcorn and coca cola, which was later found to be fabricated, according to the studies, there are two beliefs held about this technique, some people only believe that your subconscious absorbs on the simple features of the message, while others believe it absorbs more that i can describe in this article.

A popular form of subliminal messaging that is believed to exist involves inserting hidden messages in the TV programs and movies, which are projected at 23 to 30 frames per second, 1 atom out of 25 frames projected will contain a hidden command and it flashes across the screen so fast that your conscious mind doesn’t perceive. This information is important to understand, but since this technique involves projecting images onto a screen using a certain sort of technology, it is not a practical way for you to influence without such aids.

  1. Another of the most practical ways to influence someone and send a belief straight into the subconscious mind involves something called trust theory.

Think about this for a second, imagine some random guy tells you he saw a pig flying, your conscious mind will take this information and come to the conclusion that the guy is not telling the truth or is just completely lost it, because according to your subconscious, pigs cant fly. Now imagine you getting home and turn on your TV, and your local news is live talking about how they just witnessed pigs flying comparing it to some drama or sort of video, you shall trust it. Most people trust the news, and when suggestions come from a trusted source, they instantly bypass your subconscious and create a belief within your subconscious.

This is one of the reasons as to why social proof is so powerful. Imagine you meet a guy on the streets who looks homeless, on meeting him, he tells you that he’s actually a billionaire, since he is not a trusted source to you, this suggestion is immediately filtered by your subconscious mind, now imagine 3 of your close friends call you and tell you that some billionaire is going around town pretending to be homeless for a social experiment, since you genuinely see your friends as trusted sources, their suggestions bypass your conscious mind easily and go straight into your subconscious mind or that vault that holds your beliefs.

To bypass a persons consciousness filter is to become a trusted source or figure how to get through with a source they already trust, which allows you to send suggestions directly into their subconscious mind without worrying about their subconscious filter getting on the way, it’s up to you to figure specifically how to do this.

  1. Another method is hypnosis, although it sounds like some sort of a so out of this side of the world idea, hypnosis can be used to increase your confidence, set goals and even loose weight. Hypnosis induces the body into a relaxed state, causing the conscious mind to let it’s guard down, hypnosis like subliminal messaging allows you to send suggestions directly into a persons subconscious mind. When most people hear the word hypnosis, they imagine some creepy guy spinning a swinging stripped pendulum that can make them loose themselves, however it only makes the body relax and have the mind open to suggestions.

  2. The fourth way to bypass the conscious is to use subconscious cues.

Most people believe that they are very logical when it comes to making decisions, for example, a lot of people believe logically that they’d purchase a Mercedes Benz because it’s a best brand, but studies have shown that, as humans, we are not quite as logical as we think, but look just below the surface, and you’ll discover they bought the Mercedes because certain aspects appeal to their subconscious, further discoveries reveal that our subconscious plays a huge role in every decision we make even when we don’t realize it. In other words, people may tend to choose products or even dating partners who appeal to their subconscious over products or people who just appeal their conscious. In-fact, a persons connection to a particular brand is highly influenced by how it appeals to their subconscious mind. People choose products that best describe their personality.

  1. Repetition and habits,

One of the laws that covers the subconscious mind states that repetition finds a way to the subconscious and causes new beliefs, a proven way to bypass the conscious through a trust that is built over a period of time due to repetition, then exploited to pass messages of influence that would otherwise be blocked by the conscious watchful part the mind.

These are just some of the ways one can bypass the conscious mind and send suggestions to the subconscious, for most people it is impractical, however it’s very important to understand how it works.

At the end of the day, it’s up to you to get creative and figure out how you can deal with or use information as either a customer or a business. But whichever way you choose, ensure it does not impose explore and take advantage of others.

With this said, I wish to leave you with the following to reflect on and keep your thoughts around this subject spinning,

  1. Our today is as a result of efficiency of which we use our minds and what we shall have tomorrow depends on how we are able to use our creative capacity.

  2. You cannot change the world, in-fact you aren’t supposed to, change yourself and set an example for others to follow, if they so choose to. Many masters came and led the world but never changed it, however they changed themselves and led the world. A master being he who has experienced life on every level.

  3. Your inner strength is your outer foundation shape your outer through molding your inner world, work to improve yourself every single day.

  4. Creativity is a very simple concept and to boil it down to it’s simplest words, all creativity is simply a way of improving an existing way of doing things, every creativity is an improvement and to the degree to which we have the ability to find ways to improve the way that we do things in any area. We are creative individuals and the more we use our creativity, just like a muscle, the more they develop.

  5. Our subconscious has access to all data stored in our minds for a whole life time and has the ability to discriminate between valid and invalid data.

  6. This part of the mind is the source of creativity, intuition, insight, inspiration and motivation, source of new ideas and ability to see things in a brand new way and helps us move towards our goal attainment. It is available to each and everyone of us like a power source that we can plug into simply by finding the plug.

  7. Have a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing, when we close our minds, it closes everything from us, but when we open our minds, the genius that resides in each and every one of us is awakened.

  8. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. Sentiments similar to those of the Quran and the Bible.

  9. This knowledge is designed to influence positively rather than used for malaise, manipulation or control.
